Why is George Jetson drawn like a Flintstone in these Optimum banners?
App Store reviews are really depressing. Along with a complete butchering of the English language, people tend not to read the app description, then complain that the app doesn’t do what they think it should. It’s also kind of pointless to have a 5-star system, since most people vote either 1 (though they often seem to wish they could give no star) or 5 (often to counteract all the 1 star votes).
Lot’s of people hate’n on OS X Lion, but I hear a lot of shit every time Facebook undergoes a redesign. Time to grow up, people. Progress is always a good thing.
Go ahead and release the teaser trailer online the same day you release it in theaters. It’s going to end up online anyway, and that way, you get to control the quality. Plus, I’m sure Harry Potter 7.2 doesn’t need the extra boost.

I’ve now had two separate online chats with live assistant (once with Comcast, and once with Home Depot). It’s very convenient, since I was already on the website, you don’t have to wait on hold for the “next available representative,” and you don’t have to figure out someone’s weird accent or mumbling.
Both times I got clear and precise responses: “No, I can’t help you with that. You’ll have to call someone.” These were very easy requests as well. It was just a matter of not providing the services online. Real World 1, Online World 0.
ESPN has made a lot of movements recently to make their content available online. ESPN3.com came out around a year ago, and offered many feeds from live games. This week, I saw that they came out with ESPN Networks, which provides a live 24/7 stream of ESPN1-2 and ESPN-U. Now, they’ve come out with Watch ESPN, a free iPhone app that lets you watch live ESPN content, even on 3G. The catch is that you have to have a cable subscription that includes these channels.
ESPN is doing what all the networks should have been doing for years. On top of that, ESPN the Magazine gives you a free iPad subscription with a paid print subscription. I think every media outlet should be adopting these types of online policies. I mean, it’s the 21st Century. Time to evolve.
Kudos, ESPN.
A list of Firefox’s top 10 slow preforming add-ons. #2 on the list kept me using Firefox as the more advanced browsers rolled out. Without Firebug, I really have no reason to use the browser, other than testing. I use Safari, but Chrome is a very close 2nd.

Very cool augmented reality toys. My EP sent this along. If I had these as a kid, maybe my life would have been different/nerdier.
